Hola, soy Bean!
Hey there, I'm Bean! That's Soy Bean in Spanish. Bilingual educator by day and sewist by night, I love finding ways to make my sewing practice more sustainable. Designing and sewing zero-waste patterns challenges me to explore ways of optimizing my resources while cutting down on my personal waste in my studio. Making wearable garments that will have longevity in my wardrobe and become pieces I wear and mend again and again, year after year, is my goal. When I am not designing or sewing garments, I am mending them.
